Controller and scope

If you email support, the studio processes your email address and message only to answer the request and meet applicable legal obligations.
Data handled by the app
- Expressions, results, notes, pinned history items, named calculation sheets and their rows, labels and timestamps, plus preferences and the session counter used to delay advertising.
- Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share IP address, approximate location derived from it, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention.
- Google Play processes purchase and transaction information. ClearTape receives the Pro entitlement and keeps a local cache of that status so purchased features remain available.
Permissions
- Internet and network-state access support consent, advertising and Google Play Billing. The Android advertising ID permission supports Google Mobile Ads.
- The app does not request contacts, precise or device location, microphone or camera access. Google may estimate a general location from the IP address without ClearTape requesting Android location permission.
Storage and security
- Calculations, notes, sheets, history and preferences are stored in app-private local storage and are not uploaded to a Nulleuri or Blacksunset server.
- The local database and preferences are eligible for Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer when supported and enabled on the device. That copy is managed by Android and the user’s backup provider, not by Nulleuri.
- Text, CSV and PDF exports are created on the device and leave ClearTape only when you choose a destination or recipient in Android’s share interface. Shared or saved copies are then controlled by you and the selected service.
Third-party services
- Google User Messaging Platform manages applicable privacy choices. Google Mobile Ads provides free-version banner advertising. ClearTape does not add its own analytics service.
- Google Play Billing handles purchase, acknowledgement and restoration of the optional one-time Pro product.
Advertising and purchases
- From the fourth eligible app session, the free version may show one consent-aware banner in Calculator, Tools and History. It uses no interstitial, rewarded or app-open advertising.
- ClearTape Pro is a restorable one-time purchase, not a subscription. It permanently removes ads and unlocks unlimited named calculation sheets plus CSV and PDF export.
Retention and deletion
- History can be cleared and calculation sheets can be deleted inside the app. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes current local app data, although an Android backup may remain under the backup provider’s retention rules and may be restored later.
- Exported or shared copies must be deleted from their destination separately. Google retains consent, advertising and purchase information under its own policies.
Your rights and contact
Where data-protection law applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data controlled by the publisher, and object to processing. Most product data described here is held only on your device and can be managed there.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
