Data handled by the app
- The current board, elapsed time, moves, hints, undo history, completion results, cleared-pair count, daily dates, streaks, language, theme, number style, sound, haptics and contrast choices are stored in app-private local storage.
- Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share IP address, approximate location derived from it, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention.
- Google Play processes the purchase transaction. PairTen receives product availability, the localized price and purchase state needed to grant or restore Calm Pack; it never receives card or bank details.
Permissions
- The Android manifest requests Internet access only for Google UMP, Google Mobile Ads and Google Play Billing. PairTen does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, calendar or notification permission.
- Optional sound is generated locally and optional haptic feedback uses the device vibration service without recording audio.
- Google Mobile Ads may use the Android advertising identifier when it is available under the user’s device and consent settings. PairTen does not request Android location permission.
Storage and security
- Local game progress, preferences, statistics and the cached Calm Pack entitlement are not uploaded to a Nulleuri or Blacksunset server.
- PairTen disables Android cloud backup. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes local progress, preferences, statistics and the cached entitlement.
- The cached Calm Pack entitlement is checked against Google Play whenever Billing is available.
Third-party services
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) requests and manages applicable privacy choices before PairTen allows an ad request.
- Google Mobile Ads supplies the free version’s inline banners and handles advertising measurement and fraud prevention.
- Google Play Billing processes and restores the one-time Calm Pack purchase through the user’s Google Play account.
- PairTen includes no Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, developer analytics, account service, cloud sync or developer backend.
Advertising and purchases
- The free version may show one consent-aware inline banner on Home and one in the completed-board result. PairTen does not show ads during active gameplay, in Settings or in the purchase flow, and uses no interstitial, rewarded or app-open ads.
- Calm Pack is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes in-app advertising and unlocks Mint, Sunset and Mono number styles for the purchasing Google Play account. It is not a subscription. The intended Estonia price is €2.99, while the final localized price is always supplied by Google Play.
Retention and deletion
- The in-app reset removes the saved board and statistics. Clearing PairTen’s app data or uninstalling also removes preferences and the cached entitlement. The permanent Calm Pack entitlement remains associated with the purchasing Google Play account and can be restored.
- Google retains consent, advertising and purchase information under its own policies. PairTen has no developer-managed account or cloud profile to delete. Support emails can be deleted by requesting it at info@blacksunset.ee, subject to applicable legal retention duties.
