Controller and scope

The publisher and controller for developer-managed processing is Blacksunset OÜ, Estonian registry code 16513658. Contact: info@blacksunset.ee.

If you email support, the studio processes your email address and message only to answer the request and meet applicable legal obligations.

Data handled by the app

• Stage Pace is provided by Blacksunset OÜ (registry code 16513658), using the Google Play developer name Blacksunset Studio. This policy covers Android package ee.blacksunset.stagepace and version 1.0.0 in preparation. Privacy and support contact: info@blacksunset.ee.
• You enter plan titles, section names, durations and their order. The app stores these with session start and end times, pauses, measured durations, result status and settings to run the timer and show your history. Session results retain the plan used at the start. The app does not upload this content to Blacksunset, Google Billing or an advertising service.
• The app does not record your presentation audio or video. You do not create a Stage Pace account, and no plan-content sync or developer-hosted timing database is provided.

Permissions

• Optional vibration gives timing feedback. Keeping the screen awake while the timer is shown helps you read it during a session. The app does not request microphone, camera, location, contacts, calendar or broad file-storage access.
• Android’s document picker gives access to the backup or CSV file you deliberately choose to save or import. A chosen cloud document provider may transfer that file using its own service. Stage Pace does not automatically send your files to other people.
• Local planning, timing and results work offline. Google Play purchase, verification and restore operations use internet and network-state access and need a working connection to Google Play.

Storage and security

• Plans, results and settings are kept in app-private Android storage. Stage Pace adds no separate database password or encryption layer; use your device’s screen lock and security settings. Automatic Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled.
• Manual JSON export contains the library and settings. Import replaces the local library after confirmation. A CSV report contains timing information for the result you export. Saved files remain in your chosen destination and follow that provider’s access and retention settings. Purchase receipts and Plus access are excluded from backups.

Third-party services

• Google Play processes the optional Plus purchase. The app receives purchase information needed to verify access, including product and purchase identifiers, signed purchase evidence and purchase status. It checks that evidence on the device and confirms ownership with Google Play. A private cached receipt supports offline access; a later successful ownership check can remove access after a refund or revocation. The app does not receive your payment card number, bank account details or Google password. Google handles payments under https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/.
• Google Play Billing automatically sends Google technical billing, connection and error diagnostics for billing reliability and SDK improvement. These include operation results and errors, a random session identifier, app and library versions, device and Android information, network type, locale language and country, and mobile-operator information. This can occur without a completed purchase, and Stage Pace has no separate diagnostics switch. Plan titles, section names and timing results are not included in the app’s billing requests. We do not run separate marketing or app-usage analytics.
• If you email info@blacksunset.ee, Blacksunset and its email providers receive your address, message and attachments to handle support. Send only what is needed. This website separately uses hosting requests and, if you agree, website analytics as explained in the website privacy notice in the footer. Website analytics do not track native Stage Pace sessions.

Advertising and purchases

• The free version includes one editable plan, unlimited sessions, three recent complete results and partial results. Optional Plus opens multiple plans, the full archive and CSV export with one purchase, configured at EUR 3.99 in Estonia. Google Play shows the applicable local price before purchase. There is no subscription and neither tier has ads. Version 1.0.0 is in preparation; public availability is not yet confirmed.
• A pending purchase does not unlock Plus. Restore an eligible purchase with the purchasing Google Play account. The free history limit controls which complete results are visible; older results are not automatically deleted because of that limit.

Retention and deletion

• Local records remain until you remove them with the app’s controls, clear Stage Pace storage in Android settings or uninstall it. A one-step plan replacement undo retains the previous plan until that undo is consumed or cleared. Clearing app storage or uninstalling also removes the private cached purchase receipt. Without a backup you kept, the developer cannot recover local plans and results.
• Exported backups, CSV files and copies sent to another person or service are separate. Delete them where they are stored. Removing Stage Pace does not delete Google’s purchase or SDK diagnostic records. Google manages their retention under its own policies, and Stage Pace offers no API to delete Google’s diagnostics.
• Support correspondence is retained only as needed to respond and meet applicable legal retention duties. For access, correction or deletion of support information held by Blacksunset, contact info@blacksunset.ee. We cannot remotely read or erase records held only on your device.

Your rights and contact

Where data-protection law applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data controlled by the publisher, and object to processing. Most product data described here is held only on your device and can be managed there.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
