If you email support, the studio processes your email address and message only to answer the request and meet applicable legal obligations.
Data handled by the app
- Goal, level, controlled baseline, reminder preferences, workout sets, completion status, effort rating, form feedback, pain level and optional notes you enter.
- Google Mobile Ads may automatically process and share IP address, device or account identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics and approximate location derived from network information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention.
Permissions
- Notification permission is optional and only supports local workout reminders. Internet and network-state access support advertising and public policy links. Advertising ID access supports Google Mobile Ads; vibration and wake-lock support timer cues and active workouts.
- Plankos does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call log, Health Connect or exact-alarm permission.
Storage and security
- Training data and reminder preferences are stored in local app storage. Android automatic app-data backup is disabled. JSON backup export and import happen only when you choose them.
Third-party services
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) requests and manages applicable advertising privacy choices before an ad request.
- Google Mobile Ads supplies one adaptive banner on selected non-workout screens. No banner is shown during onboarding, the workout hub, an active workout timer or post-workout feedback.
- No developer-operated backend or separate analytics service receives your training profile, workout history, pain feedback or notes.
Advertising and purchases
- Plankos is free and may show one consent-aware banner on selected non-workout screens. It has no subscription or in-app purchase in version 1.1.0.
Retention and deletion
- Resetting data in Settings or clearing app data removes the local profile and workout history and cancels reminders scheduled by Plankos. Uninstalling removes app-local data. Exported backups must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.
- Google retains consent and advertising data under its own policies.
Your rights and contact
Where data-protection law applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data controlled by the publisher, and object to processing. Most product data described here is held only on your device and can be managed there.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
