Controller and scope

The publisher and controller for developer-managed processing is Blacksunset OÜ, Estonian registry code 16513658. Contact: info@blacksunset.ee.

If you email support, the studio processes your email address and message only to answer the request and meet applicable legal obligations.

Data handled by the app

• This policy takes effect on 11 September 2026 and covers RimTempo: Multi Timer, package ee.nulleuri.rimtempo, version 1.0.0 (1). The studio is Nulleuri and the publisher is Blacksunset OÜ, Estonian registry code 16513658, under the Google Play developer name Blacksunset Studio. Privacy and support contact: info@blacksunset.ee.
• The app stores timer durations, remaining time, timing information, states, local record identifiers, display slots, optional names and saved durations or presets in its private storage on the watch. It also remembers whether notification permission has already been requested. These values run the timers and support their controls. Android timing and restart information help keep the state consistent; they are not used to identify you across apps.
• RimTempo does not send timer records to a developer server. It does not access location, contacts, photos, health records or advertising identifiers. A name you enter may itself contain personal information, so avoid sensitive names that you would not want visible on a notification, Tile or watch face.
• If you email info@blacksunset.ee, support receives your email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to send, such as a watch model or order reference. These are used to answer your request, handle related purchase issues and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal information.

Permissions

• Notification permission, exact-alarm access and vibration are used for timer alerts. On watch versions that require it, RimTempo can ask for notification permission or direct you to Alarms & reminders access. Android also tells the app when the watch restarts so it can mark interrupted timers. These functions are not used for marketing or tracking.
• RimTempo has no internet permission, microphone permission or in-app billing permission, and no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, billing or network-client SDK. This does not prevent services you use separately, such as Google Play or a system keyboard, from processing information under their own settings and policies.

Storage and security

• Timer records and presets are held in app-private storage, protected by the watch operating system’s storage controls. RimTempo does not add a separate password or encrypted vault. Use the security options available on your watch to protect access to it.
• RimTempo does not provide cloud backup, file export or cross-device timer synchronisation. This version is configured to exclude local app data from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Reinstalling through Google Play provides the app again; RimTempo has no service to restore previous timers or saved durations. Any separate operating-system or Google Play records follow those services’ policies.

Third-party services

• Android displays timer notifications and ongoing activity on the watch. They can contain the timer’s name and status and may be visible outside the app, including to someone who can see your watch. Alert permission, notification-channel settings and the watch’s settings determine visibility, sound and vibration; RimTempo does not guarantee that names are hidden on a locked watch.
• If you add the RimTempo Tile, the local system Tile host displays timer names, remaining time and status as a snapshot. The Tile can also start a timer or open the app. Removing the Tile stops that optional display and does not delete the timer records.
• If you select RimTempo as a complication provider on a compatible watch face, Wear OS supplies timer information locally to that watch face. This can include the full optional timer name, remaining time and related timing information, the number of running timers or their status. The visible name may be shortened while the accessibility description contains the full name. The selected watch face handles the received information under its own privacy policy. Remove or change the complication to stop this optional transfer; it is not a RimTempo cloud service.
• If you use a system keyboard or voice input to enter a timer name, that input service handles your text or speech under its own settings and privacy policy and may use an internet connection. RimTempo receives the resulting text and does not record microphone audio. Choose and configure input services in your watch’s system settings.
• Google Play handles the paid download, installation and updates under Google’s own terms and privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. RimTempo has no in-app checkout and does not receive payment-card details or purchase tokens. Google Play and the watch operating system may process their own diagnostics and service information according to their settings and policies.
• Technical errors may be recorded in local system logs. RimTempo has no automatic service that uploads these logs to the publisher. Any diagnostic processing by the watch operating system follows the system’s settings and policies.
• After sales begin, Google may make order information available to the publisher for purchase support, refunds, accounting and required records. This can include an order reference, product, date, amount, status and country or regional information. Email services used by you and Blacksunset process support correspondence to deliver and store messages. These business and support records are separate from the app’s local timers.
• Opening this website sends the usual technical web-request information, which can include your IP address and browser details, to the website’s hosting service so it can deliver the page. This website processing is separate from the watch app and is not a network connection made by RimTempo.

Advertising and purchases

• RimTempo is coming soon for compatible Wear OS 3 or newer watches. The planned model is a single paid download through Google Play, with the applicable local price shown before purchase. Once installed, all app functions are available without a RimTempo account, subscription or in-app purchase. The app has no ads.
• RimTempo is a general timing tool designed for adult cooking and workshop tasks and is not directed at children. It does not ask for your age or create user profiles.

Retention and deletion

• Timer records and saved durations remain locally until you remove them or clear the app’s data. A completed timer is not automatically deleted, and a saved preset is a separate record. To delete all local timers and presets, clear the app’s storage in the watch’s settings or uninstall it. RimTempo has no online account to delete and the publisher cannot remotely recover or erase your local timers.
• Removing a Tile or complication only stops that display; it does not remove the corresponding timer from RimTempo. Clearing or uninstalling RimTempo does not delete your Google account, Google Play purchase records, support correspondence or information held independently by a selected service. Manage those records through the relevant service or contact support for information controlled by Blacksunset OÜ.
• Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and related follow-up or meet applicable legal obligations. Purchase-administration and accounting records are retained for applicable legal obligations and relevant claims. Your rights and contact

Where data-protection law applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data controlled by Blacksunset OÜ, and object to processing. Contact info@blacksunset.ee to exercise these rights or ask about information you have sent to support. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. Local timer records can be managed on your watch. Information held independently by Google, your watch manufacturer, a selected watch face or an input service is managed through that service.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.

This policy may be updated when the app or legal requirements change. The revision date above shows the current version.
