Controller and scope

The publisher and controller for developer-managed processing is Blacksunset OÜ, Estonian registry code 16513658. Contact: info@blacksunset.ee.

If you email support, the studio processes your email address and message only to answer the request and meet applicable legal obligations.

Data handled by the app

  • Puzzle grids, notes, completion history, statistics and settings.

Permissions

  • Version 1.0.1 declares vibration and Capacitor’s app-scoped dynamic receiver permission. It does not request internet, contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files or notification access.

Storage and security

  • Progress and settings are stored locally, are not uploaded to a developer server, and are excluded from Android automatic app backup.

Third-party services

  • Google Play distributes the paid app and independently processes purchases, ratings and optional review text. After at least three completed puzzles, SudoStep may open Google Play’s native review dialog; SudoStep does not send or store your rating or review.

Advertising and purchases

  • SudoStep is a one-time paid download. It contains no ads, subscription or in-app purchase.

Retention and deletion

  • Reset data in the app or clear app data/uninstall to remove local progress and settings.

Your rights and contact

Where data-protection law applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data controlled by the publisher, and object to processing. Most product data described here is held only on your device and can be managed there.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
