- Saved puzzles, settings and statistics are now validated and migrated defensively, so damaged local data no longer blocks play.
- Landscape mode uses a stable two-column board and control layout on phones and larger Android screens.
- After at least three completed puzzles, SudoStep may open Google Play’s native rating dialog without an in-app pre-rating question.
- Android backup rules, adaptive icons and support for Android 16 were tightened for a more dependable release.
